Piles are medically known as hemorrhoids. It is a condition in which the veins inside or outside the anus or lower rectum become inflamed or swollen.

Symptoms of hemorrhoids include a feeling of pain, irritation, or pain with a bowel movement.

When a person has a bowel movement, hemorrhoids increase due to the pressure in the rectal area. In some cases, if the condition is severe, bleeding may also occur.

Here are some natural home remedies for piles treatment:

· Drinking radish juice twice daily is a common remedy for hemorrhoids. Start with 1/4 cup and gradually increase to 1/2 cup twice daily.

· Dip three to four dried figs in water overnight. Take them twice a day with the water they were soaked in.

· Boil the pomegranate peel in water. Drink strained water twice a day.

· To relieve pain from hemorrhoids, drink buttermilk, to which rock salt, ginger, and peppercorns are added. Take it twice a day.

· To relieve bleeding, mix a teaspoon of mustard seeds and mixes it with half a cup of goat milk and add some sugar. Use this in the morning on an empty stomach.

· Dried powdered mango seeds. Mix two teaspoons of this powder with some honey and eat twice a day.

· Mix one teaspoon of ginger and lime juice with mint leaves and honey. Take it twice or thrice daily.

· To relieve pain from hemorrhoids, mix a mashed ripe banana in a cup of milk. Take this mixture thrice daily.

· Jamblang, better known as Jamblang fruit, is also effective. This fruit is available in summer, so make the most of it. Eat a handful of Jambul with a little salt in the morning on an empty stomach.

· Turnip, or shalgam, is another useful home remedy. Prepare a mixture of 50ml carrot juice, spinach, and Turnip juice.

· Add some bitter gourd juice or karela with a little buttermilk. This should be taken every morning.

· Turmeric has antiseptic and healing properties. Eat a teaspoon of fresh and ground turmeric root.

· Make a mixture of ground black cumin seeds, better known as shah jeera, and cumin seeds. Put a teaspoon of this powder in a glass of water and drink it once daily, preferably in the morning.

· Mix two tablespoons of honey with one grated raw onion. Take this twice a day.

· Boil a handful of sesame seeds or up to 500 ml of water until reduced by a third. Make a paste and add a teaspoon of butter. Eat this once a day.

· Warm baths can help soothe irritated hemorrhoids. Use a sitz bath, a small plastic tub on the toilet seat to submerge the affected area, or bathe in a tub.

· After each bowel movement, have a warm or sitz bath for 20 minutes. Adding Epsom salts to the bath can provide more relief.

· Apply ice packs or cold compresses to the anus for 15 minutes to relieve swelling. Cold packs can be extremely effective for large, painful hemorrhoids. Be sure to wrap the ice cream in a cloth or paper towel. Never apply anything frozen directly to your skin, as it may injure or damage the skin.

· Replace tight-fitting polyester clothing with breathable cotton (especially cotton underwear) to keep the anal area clean and dry. This can reduce the symptoms and risk of infection in open wounds or broken skin.

· Avoid scented detergents or fabric softeners to reduce irritation.

· You can cook with coconut oil, apply it to external hemorrhoids with a cotton ball, use it in your bath, and more.

Such recommendations are useful to a certain extent for a few people with piles treatment. With the recent trend and lifestyle awareness, people are now open to asking their doctor for piles treatment medical advice.
