A survey of 1,000 manufacturers found that despite rising material costs, many were being paid the same wages as before the pandemic two years ago.

The investigation included the time frame of March 2020 to December 2021.
90% of the major high-street brands that purchased from four or more manufacturers were found to have unfair purchasing practices, according to the study.
