Kasol – Weekend Gateway From Delhi

by Steven Brown
Kasol

My friends and I made the commitment to travel to these places before we graduated when we were engineering students.
Himachal Pradesh’s Kasol was one of the locations. The “Kasol Trip” is on everyone’s wish lists.

The Himachal Pradesh region includes a small village by the name of Kasol, which is located 540 kilometres from Delhi, the nation’s capital, and 35 kilometres from Kullu. By car or bus, travelling from Delhi to Kasol is simple. an area where the maxim “live and let live” is easily applied and where there are no rules or restrictions. Every minute I spent there made me want to stay a little while longer. I’m not sure if it was the vibes or the atmosphere.

When you tell your friends you’re going to Kasol for the weekend, they’ll just give you a look to let you know they understand, and you’ll reassure them silently that you’ll come back with a nice gift for them.

Among the things to do in Kasol are:

A sight unto itself

After an overnight journey, arriving in Kasol in the morning is a joy in and of itself. It’s a blessing that despite their different cultures and helpful attitudes, you feel a connection to each of them. When I arrived in Kullu and then took a bus to Bhunter (since that’s how it is, or take a taxi from Kullu), it was a wonderful experience.

Because I was wearing pyjamas, a t-shirt, and a thin jacket and the chilly wind was blowing in my face, I could feel the coldness of the environment.

Budget lodging and camping in Kasol

When you get to Kasol, don’t worry about your trip, your stay, or the things you are only there to see. The Rs 7000 in cash I had on hand to prepare everything was more than enough, unless you don’t want to score more.

On the treks I’ve taken, I’ve enjoyed the meals, slept soundly in hotels, and spent the night in tents. The whole thing was covered in 7000, which was a lovely experience.

There are many cafes with reliable, cost-free internet access.

Environment and food

Anyone visiting will encounter a new environment because, as I mentioned above, this location doesn’t follow the norms that society has established. Instead, it has its own agenda. They will develop romantic feelings for the person they already adore. We are very appreciative that Israeli food and hippie culture have arrived.

There are many cafes with distinctive specialties. As I savoured my burger, fries, and beer while admiring the mountains, it was like pure heaven. Though I would have missed out on other worthwhile experiences, I wished I could have stayed longer.

Malana Village

a place where people live in isolation and work as farmers or tour guides to just support themselves on a daily basis. They are all happy, whether you see a young child or an elderly person, so yes, they are laid back.

To travel from Kasol to these and other locations where you can take in Kasol’s natural beauty and its many cultural influences, you can pick from a variety of treks.

River Paravati

Come unwind by the river or go for a stroll with a beer or a joint in your hand if you’re tired from the long journey, missing your ex, or just want some “me time.” Away from the commotion of the city, you’ll discover yourself in a totally different environment. Even if you can’t find any adventure sports, the chirping of the birds, your own breathing, the echo in the mountains, and your own voice provide you with a soothing melody in the end.

I was delighted to learn that if you give it some time and believe in yourself, you can accomplish a lot in life without putting yourself under stress. I spent about an hour and a half just taking in the scenery.

Kheerganga Trek

Only 9 kilometres up the hill, the Kheerganga Trek is one of the easiest and most thrilling hikes I’ve ever done, but it does justice to how breathtaking the view is once we reach the peak. When you reach the Kheerganga, you can unwind, converse with acquaintances or total strangers, or just relax in the hot springs that emerge from the hills’ peaks. My exhaustion vanished as soon as I took them, and the sensation of being in the warm water and taking in the view from the top was entirely different.

Village Chahal

If you want to experience Israeli culture and way of life, you must go to this village.

The distinct atmosphere of this settlement makes it stand out from the rest of the Kasol. The area’s natural beauty has been enhanced by the large number of Israeli settlers, so living costs might be a little higher here than they are in other areas of Kasol.
