The Kapil Sharma Show, also known as TKSS, is a stand-up comedy and talk show on Sony Entertainment Television in India in the Hindi language. The first season of the Kapil Sharma-hosted program debuted on April 23, 2016. Sharma and his neighbors from the Shantivan Non-Co-operative Housing Society were the focus of the television show. 

Mumbai’s Goregaon East neighborhood

The show was filmed at Film City in Mumbai’s Goregaon East neighborhood. The show’s first season was produced by Sharma’s production company K9 Productions, in collaboration with Frames Productions. In contrast, the second and third seasons are being co-produced by Salman Khan Television and Banijay Asia, with K9 Productions as the creative producers. The fourth season of the show is about to premiere. Other than this trending topic, wpc2023 is also a top trend on social media these days.

Controversy

According to a spokesperson for Sony Entertainment Television, on August 31, 2017, Kapil Sharma and the network had mutually decided to take a brief break from the production of the show after Sharma’s deteriorating health forced the cancellation of several episodes. Other than this trending topic, art of zoo is also a top trend on social media these days.

The Sharma’s on-air altercation with co-star Sunil Grover and they started to lose viewers. After that, his health began to fail and  forcing him to miss a few program episodes. ButChandan Prabhakar, Ali Asgar, and some other cast members, Grover left the show due to the controversy.

 Prabhakar returned to the program, and Bharti Singh appeared in repeat episodes. The program stopped airing in 2017. In December 2018, the second season began to air on television.

Reception

The first season of The Kapil Sharma Show received varying reviews from critics and viewers. Sunil Grover and Ali Asgar’s characters were well-liked by Namrata Thakker of Rediff.com. They gave it 2.5 out of 5 stars but noted that “the series has big shoes to fill considering how successful their earlier show Comedy Nights With Kapil was.” 

New Journey

The series received two stars out of five from Chaya Unnikrishnan of Daily News and Analysis, who added, “Kapil Sharma’s wit and funny one-liners bring a laugh.” Unnikrishnan described the show as “dull and disappointing,” even though she enjoyed parts of it. Letty Mariam Abraham of Mid-Day gave the show a 1.5-star rating and stated.  Even though the jokes are stale, the new set’s overall look and feel is attractive. 

Successful debut

Although “Kapil brings nothing fresh to the table and appears to be a waste of the prime time slot. According to ratings from the Broadcast Audience Research Council, the show’s second season had a successful debut with 8.1 million impressions.

Viewers reaction

The show’s first episode elicited 8,943 responses, according to reports released by the Broadcast Audience Research Council. After watching Comedy Nights with Kapil but some viewers will see the same contestants return while others. They were let down by the chaotic and repetitive humor of the program. The 16th episode of the show, which starred the Sairat team and aired on June 12, 2016, received favorable ratings in the non-fiction section

Premise

The series format is remarkably similar to that of Sharma’s previous Comedy Nights with Kapil program.

The stars of The Kapil Sharma Show are comedians Sumona Chakravarti, Kiku Sharda, Chandan Prabhakar, Krushna Abhishek, Bharti Singh, and Rochelle Rao, who portray Shantivan Non-cooperative Housing Society residents on the show.
