Signs Your Website Needs a Redesign

Signs Your Website Needs a Redesign

Every week, I meet with businesses that require a new website. They also beg me to review their current site. I’m an honest person, and when I tell someone that, they usually begin to say the first thing that comes into their mind. Some of the remarks are so hilarious and true, that they leave me having a good time and ripping my eyes clean. While this is great for me personally, it’s not good for the company that is the owner of the website.

The following list of the top reasons to consider custom web development designing a website is a humorous recollection of the conversations I’ve had with owners of websites. I’d like to claim that these were fictitious and just a figment of my mind, but they’re not. They’re actually based on real-world websites.

  1. The website you are viewing was design in 1995, and it was.
  2. Your website is in need of some improvements However, the person who develop it (aka your son) is currently at college and cannot be reach.
  3. Your animated gif has become tired. He looked so hip in the past However, dancing puppies don’t communicate your message the way they should.
  4. If a fight was to fought the company’s PowerPoint presentations could kick the dirt out of the content on your website. It’s a good thing, as the PowerPoint was last updated and your website recently updated.
  5. Your website is an empty space. It’s unclear the number of people who visit your site or what they do there, and then when they go away.
  6. Your website appears tiny when as compared to the size of your competitors. It was gorgeous at the time, back in 2000 when the resolution was 800×600. Now, well it’s not as great.
  7. Your navigation is so bad that you and your site visitors are having a difficult time finding relevant information.
  8. There’s duplicate content that you didn’t know it had. However, Google found it, and it affects with Google’s Panda update due to it.
  9. Your site is so slow you can sip an espresso as you browse through pages.
  10. You greet guests with a talkative image of you. It was trendy a few years ago, but it’s just irritating. When we talk about social media, they do not mean chat avatars.

There are real-world websites as well as comments from owners of websites. However, there is an opportunity. There is logo designer near me to rely solely on your tech knowledgeable nephew or an old WYSWYG software program that has limitations. It is possible to use modern tools such as WordPress or Google Analytics to create a modern and fresh website.

If you truly require assistance, you may get in touch with a web designer similar to me. I’d recommend you look for an WordPress web designer who’s as quirky as me, to prevent the use of animated gifs, talking avatars, or any other thing that could harm your online image and also the perception of the world of your brand and service.
